Lamb for President 2012

     Lamb for President 2012
                 Restore the free Republic

If elected I will do everything in my power to see that this platform is executed.

1) Reduce the size of government and Limit the government to it's Constitutional authority.  Over the years we have heard many presidential candidates say they will decrease the size of government and all that has come about is an increase.  We need more than lip service, we need action.

2) Lessen the tax load on those who make less than $500,000.00 and have the wealthy pay more by removing the loopholes in the tax law.  We have too many people who do not pay taxes because of these loopholes.

3) Restore your freedoms that have been usurped  by congressional legislation.   Congress must once again be chained down by the Constitution.  We cannot leave Congress unfettered to do what they will.  Many programs and bills must be rescinded.

4) Re-introduce the dollar backed by silver.  This will check inflation and,  over time, lower prices.

5) Fix the educational system so our children learn more about their country and what makes it work.  Our schools need a new curriculum that includes the Bill of Rights, the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.

6) Solve the employment problem.  We need to get out of the free trade agreements, and create favorable conditions to lure businesses that have left the country, to come back.

7) I would ask all businesses to offer a 401(k) to their employees to take care of retirement.  These accounts would follow the employee to any job.  Social security would then be phased out.

8) In a free and open society we
cannot have a government keeping secrets from the public.  I would make sure we don't need a freedom of information act.  Having the people informed on what is happening is the only way to insure they keep an interest in their duty.  Our Republic was not set up to keep people from voting or seeking office.

9) Work to restore the government of the people, for the people and by the people.  We have lost our way on this and now it is government of the bankers, by the bankers and for the bankers.  The people are no longer in the equation.

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.
Thomas Jefferson
The Presidential Oath of Office states:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.
Personally, I don't see anyone protecting the Constitution. The Constitution is being destroyed by the very ones taking the oath to protect it.

The Congressional oath is a little longer:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.
Who is protecting the Constitution from them?

Why I am a Conservative :
I believe in God
I believe in God-given Rights
I believe in the Republic and the Republican form of government.
I believe in the Bill of Rights as written and amended to the Constitution.
I believe in a limited and constitutionally bound government.
I believe in the liberties of the people.
I believe in the protection of life and property.
I believe in fiscal responsibility.
I believe in a strong military.
I believe in the right of peoples' self determination.

.                    My Platform
In 2012 we need to elect a president - not a puppet
I imagine you have all been to a restaurant with bad food.   Going back to that restaurant won't change the quality of the food. You learned, at least the second time, not to go back.
So it is with our 2 major political parties.  We go back to them every 2 years and going back to them time after time has not made anything better.  When are we going to learn?

This is how our government seems to work.  I will start with seat belts.
Manufacturers started puting lap belts in cars in the late 50's and so it went for some time with some improvements being made.
Then it was thought to be a good idea to use them to save lives.
Pushed by insurance companies, safety organizations, police forces and others, it became recommended they be used.
Pushed still further by these same groups it became law, you must use them.
A freedom is lost here.  You no longer have a choice.

Smoking.
It started with a Surgeon General's warning on the side of a pack: "Caution, cigarette smoking may be hazardous to your health."
To keep children from seeing ads and running right out to buy a pack, it was decreed the companies could not advertise on billboards, in magazines, newspapers or tv.
Now keep in mind, this is a legal product.
Since these things weren't working they started adding tax after tax on cigarettes  hoping the children couldn't afford them and it was getting difficult for adults to afford them.
Pushed by the insurance companies, Cancer society and others, it was decided to attack smoking in restaurants.  Restaurants had to have a non-smoking section- which was a joke.   In every restaurant I ever went into it was necessary to pass through the smoking section.  After awhile restaurants thought it too much of a hassle and went completely non-smoking.  And so it went for bars, hotels, and stores.
Now there is no smoking in any type store, bars,  restaurants, all government buildings be they local, state or federal and hotels have non-smoking rooms.  All this is to fight lung cancer.
I am not promoting smoking in any way, shape or form.
I quit smoking about 25 years ago.
What I am trying to show is how the government works step by step to achieve their goals.

It's really difficult to come to the    realization that government           screws things up by design.

Another thought on national health care.
How long it will take the government to nationalize the insurance companies is anybody’s guess.  What I see happening is everyone will be required to have health insurance just like we all have to have auto insurance.  Any persons not having health insurance will be fined or jailed or both.  We are losing our freedoms faster and faster and when congress is doing evil, time seems to slow to a snails pace.
It angers me that anyone would want this.  It angers me that politicians would even think about it and it angers me that all I can do is write my congressmen who don’t give a damn what I think.
We have to come up with a better solution.  The continual raiding the taxpayer’s pocketbook is not the way to go.
