America
By way of introduction, my name is Harold Lamb. I was born into this great nation at Seaside, Oregon, February, 1942. I am married 36 years, have 2 sons and 7 grandchildren. I have not attended an institution of higher education. I wasn't in the military. I now reside in Washington State.
I am a fan of NASCAR, I garden, fix things around the house, mow the lawn. I am like most of you. But I have a consuming desire to return the country to the Republic it's supposed to be or as close as possible. Things have changed over the last 220 years. If I can achieve this it will make things better for all the people.
I am asking you for your vote for President of the United States of America 2012.
I am running a write in campaign. I have to use the write-in because I don’t have the money for a large TV/radio campaign, I can't go around state to state petitioning to be on the ballot, that’s why I am using the Internet. I am, like you, an average American citizen. In 1963 I registered Republican because I believed in a Republican form of government. I still believe in a Republican form of government but no one in the major parties seems to. The major party candidates are all hand picked and owe favors to the parties, mega-corporations and huge donors. I am not running as a Republican but as a person with Conservative ideals.
Although I am a registered Republican, I will not align myself to any of the current parties we have because none of them suit me. They have some good ideas but don’t go far enough to restore the liberties to the American people as guaranteed by the Constitution and limiting government.
I am pro-gun ownership. If one person is going to kill another there are too many ways to do that to suggest that by getting rid of guns we would have less crime. Are we going to ban knives, rope, poison or hands. This is no more ludicrous than thinking a ban on guns will reduce crime. It wouldn't even reduce gun related crime. If the people don't have guns they will not only become sitting ducks for any criminal but the people won't be able to keep tyranny at bay. This nation is MORE SECURE when people have guns but banning guns will be done for "national security". That will be one of the more inane reasons given by our illustrious elected officials.
I am pro-limited government. I will slash the agencies of government in Washington, DC. The size of our Government is not worth the cost to taxpayers. Why should we fund a government that is not protecting us but rather working to take everything we have worked for away from us? The less government does the freer the people.
I am anti-national health care. The system, as proposed, will hasten the collapse the economy. If the government has to get involved with health care, let them regulate the system we have through H E W and not add another trillion dollar layer of bureaucracy by setting up another system.
I am anti-The Patriot Act, Homeland Security, the Federal Reserve Bank, I R S, personal income tax, among other things. I am sure we could abolish the income tax (or at least drastically reduce it) if we weren't spending billions of dollars on wars we shouldn't be fighting, reduce the size of government and if we didn't waste billions of dollars on foreign aid that goes to dictators or central banks.
When it comes to abortion or gay marriage, "politically" I have no opinion. These are States' Rights issues and not within the province of the federal government.

Why do I want to be President? And make no mistake, this is an honest attempt to make a run for the Presidency. I want the people to be free and independent citizens of the United States of America. I want them to be free of the shackles that have been put on us by congressional legislation. Think back over the past presidents and members of congress. Has any of them done what they pledged to do? Do you have any more freedom now? I know I don’t. Congress passed the bail-out bill in spite of what the people wanted. So who do you think they are working for? You should know by now they aren't working for you. The lawmakers are making laws that limit your freedom and are taking away your rights. l compare it to being driven up a cattle chute with no way to turn around. The gate is going to close and a lot of you have no idea what the government is doing.
Candidate Obama said, "We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set". Why not? Our military has done an outstanding job. He also said: "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded". The only thing he omitted was, just as well armed.
Why would President Obama need a national civilian security force? Are they to be the new Gestapo, Obama style? Yes! They would be another Army funded by you to control you since, by law, the regular military cannot be used against the people. This isn't an idea original to this administration. This was taken straight out of the Nazi's handbook.
If the majority of people remain silent and let the government take over, we will lose everything. Our Founders came up with a wonderful new government with rights of the people guaranteedby a document, the Bill of Rights, later amended to the Constitution. Our forefathers fought and died to protect this new experiment called the United States of America. Now, all they fought for, indeed everything all our fighting men have fought to preserve is about to be lost. Gone will be your rights and freedoms. Gone will be the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. Gone will be private ownership.. of anything. As long as you remain silent, you are saying all those fighting men; husbands, fathers, sons, etc. died in vain trying to protect and preserve your way of life. Remaining silent doesn’t mean you have to be vocal. The strongest weapon you have against tyranny is your vote. However, if you are going to vote for the 2 major parties, your vote will not help turn the tide.
If you don’t believe this, I strongly suggest you do some reading about the people in Germany under Hitler, and Russia under the Bolsheviks, Lenin, Stalin and the rest. There are many more examples but these should open your eyes. Read with an open mind and think about what our government is doing today.
Not only will there be a national ID card but radio transmitting chips implanted under the skin so the government will have complete control over your whereabouts. Apparently, to make sure they don’t miss anyone, ID chips will be put in drivers licenses, passports and other government identification.

In my writings I use the word “Government” in the context we are used to, the agencies in Washington, DC. It should be “bureaucracy” as we the people are, by Constitutional definition, the government.
We the people have many problems-unemployment, inflation, home foreclosures among them. These problems have been CAUSED by the very government that was set up to protect us and we don’t have anyone who wants to do something about these problems. Every time we vote a candidate in, things just keep marching in the same direction. Party doesn't matter. They have no changes we can live with. Candidate Obama promised new jobs. Where are any of them? Are his proposed new jobs supposed to be the new health care and civilian security force? The only thing I have heard about jobs is more people will lose them. I will do whatever is humanly possible to bring freedom and prosperity to you. I won’t make promises I can't keep and, hopefully, I won’t tell you what you already know, like we need more jobs. You probably already know that.
The time has come for us to rethink who we are. We can no longer think of ourselves as Democrat or Republican but rather Citizens of the United States of America. As long as we keep voting for the major party candidates we will keep the march to complete Socialism and eventual slavery on a clear path unhindered to make the dream of the socialists one world government come true. It doesn't matter what you call it, Communism, Fascism, Nazism, It's all Socialism; Just different types. If we do not change the way we vote, Communism is just around the corner for us. Why do I say Communism? With Communism there is no private ownership of property and when the economy collapses the banks will take over and own everything. That's the deal made with the Federal Reserve so the government could "borrow" all the money it wanted. We are in the end times of the United States of America and if you do not change your voting habits, you will witness the demise of the greatest industrial nation the world has ever seen. The only nation to guarantee to it's citizens their God given Rights. The only nation where a person could say "I am free". The only nation in which you could follow your dreams without bureaucratic interference. Do not dismiss this as conspiracy theory. There is no theory, It is a fact. As another fact, there has been a conspiracy to take over our government by one group or another since it’s inception. This is nothing new but the end is almost here.
We need a limited Federal Government, we need our rights and freedoms restored. You may think you’re free now but think about it. What can you do without some government approval? You need a license to drive a car, go hunting or fishing, open a business, have a pet. A permit is needed just to build a shed on your own property. You work hard and give more than 40% of YOUR money to the governments most of which goes to pay the Federal Reserve interest on “loans”. That is not freedom in my book. You may not know it but the fed makes loans all around the world and our government (God bless them) has guaranteed these loans using your tax dollars. We are paying millions every month for defaulted loans to other countries. Where is the protection we are supposed to have? Since the 1930"s the Federal Reserve, a private bank, has had control of our money and I think it's time for an end. Congress gave up that control and congress has to take it back. We need to start in 2010 to elect our Representatives and Senators from 3rd parties. No, that 's not what we need. We need grass roots people who are not career politicians. There are choices you can make and they don't necessarily include the 2 major parties.
Am I qualified? Well the Constitution says to be President one must be 35 years of age and a natural born citizen. I qualify on both. Over the years the presidency has been made something it was never meant to be. A candidate does not need a law degree. It isn’t necessary to know everything there is to know and when it comes to foreign and national affairs, the president has advisors to give him the pros and cons of any needed decisions. The final word, however, is the Presidents. He needs to be decisive, use good judgement and common sense.
About the economy, I will work to stop the inflation by re-introducing a dollar backed by Silver, put people back to work and see what the banks can do to stop the foreclosures. And that is just the beginning.
Please, think about the contents herein. Don’t dismiss anything. WE need a grass roots movement so we can put this great nation back on the right track and secure the future for our children and their children for generations to come.

Here's a word for you: Choice. Free people
have choices. Take seat belts for instance. By law you must use them. Car seats for children. By law you must use them. I am not saying these are bad ideas but if we are a free people, we should have our choice to use these things not be forced into them.
What makes us more free than anyone else in the developed nations? Hmmmm? Oh, yes, its's our rights guaranteed by the Constitution. Well, the Patriot Act pretty much does away with rights, in the name of national security.(SEE ABOVE)
In congress is a bill that will limit your free speech & right of assembly. I don't believe religion was mentioned. Freedom of the press is almost history and you haven't been able to petition the government for a long time. That just about takes away the first amendment.
You no longer have the right to privacy since a search warrant is no longer needed to search your home, office, person, purse, etc. So the fourth amendment will be gone.
You can be arrested without cause, held in prison and never charged with a crime, tortured, and never tried. That does away with the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth amendments.
The second amendment, the right to keep and bear arms, has been under attack for many years and has been infringed, but it still remains... for awhile.
The third amendment, the right to not have soldiers quartered in your home in peace time, to my knowledge, hasn't been touched. But I could be wrong
The Ninth amendment basically states that the people may have rights not already enumerated.
Who are we kidding. By the time Mr Obama's term is up we won't have any rights.
The tenth amendment states, roughly, powers not given to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states are reserved to the states or to the people.
However, since the states are so socialistic, they have all but given up the powers that were granted to them. So we may as well say the 10th amendment is gone.
Such is the state of the Bill of Rights.
Montana and other states are challenging the Federal Government concerning States' Rights. They are using the 10th amendment (states' rights) to protect the 2nd amendment (the right to keep and bear arms). I am pretty sure the states won't win as tyranny won't let them.

Hillary Clinton's appointment to Secretay of State is unconstitutional. Article 1,Section 6, paragraph 2 says: "No Senator or Representative shall during the time for which he/she is elected, be appointed to any civil office under the jurisdiction of the United States". Clearly the President does not care about the Constitution. And remember, he took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution.
We need people in Washington who care about our Republic, and want a Constitutional government.
